DKV Extended to 18 Days Paternity Leave for Employees

DKV launches measures to facilitate the reconciliation between work and private life of its employees, including increased parental leave to 18 days (three more than the legal ones), the extension of maternity leave in two weeks for birth or adoption of children with disease, and eligibility for special hours for employees with problematic situations involving their children or ancestors. In others, international adoption, a parent may take leave of 5 days prior to arrival of the child.

It also extends to 5 days leave for hospitalization for illness or accident of a first degree and creates a permission to attend tutorials and meetings of school children to be during business hours and to accompany visits to parents of first-degree . Finally, managers and employees should complete its meetings or before 18:00 hours and plans to roll out these measures: Provide telework, negotiate special prices for parking in garages near the workplace, and publish their “Green Pages DKV” information on home help services, child care and elderly, etc.
